Was wondering how I could go about findng a topic more than a couple weeks old? I choose the 'show topics from 1 year ago' drop down box but only get 4 pages of archives going back to 2/27 or so. Any way to search back further?

Sure. Click the button that says "Search" and on the next page choose Message Archive. That should do the trick.
